Poster with the painting "Three-masted barkby the Swedish artist Jacob Hägg (1839-1931) 

The painting was made around the 1880s and shows a three-masted barque and a destroyer at Stora Karlsö, seen from the front with the wind to port. In the background you can see Västerberget on Stora Karlsö with the lighthouse and a destroyer on the right and an armored boat on the left.

Jacob Hägg was educated at the Royal Academy of Liberal Arts in Stockholm and was later employed as a teacher there. He was a diligent artist and his work was characterized by a naturalistic style with a strong focus on light and atmosphere. Hägg's artistry spanned several decades and he was an important part of the Swedish 19th century's artistic development.
