The story behind the motif

The Skeppsbron in Stockholm at the turn of the century. In the background we see various shops, including the Swedish Glasförsäkringsbolaget. On the street, the Hamburgerbryggeriet distributes bottles by horse and cart.

The iconic investment company Kinnevik was founded by the Stenbeck, Klingspor and Von Horn families in 1936 and has long had its headquarters right here, at Skeppsbron 18.
