The story behind the motif
In this photo from the 1890s, we see Norrköping and the foundation of Refven, which at the time was a Kallbadhus. The fund shows Norrköping's cotton weaving mill, which was popularly called "Tuppen" and referred to the factory's brand.
In the picture we see people fishing along the quay and walking along the promenade. Smoke billows from the factory's chimneys.
