From Hoarfrost to the Paris Salon
The watercolour was initially titled Hoarfrost. Carl Larsson painted it for Pontus and Göthilda Fürstenberg’s gallery in Gothenburg, and it was later shown at the Paris Salon – a journey from Swedish patrons to Europe’s most significant art exhibition at the time.

We deliver worldwide and always offer free shipping! Depending on the country you are shipping to, delivery may involve certain customs duties and taxes – no customs duties or taxes apply to deliveries within the EU or Norway.

Delivery time is normally around 5–7 business days within the Nordic countries, as we handcraft our canvas artworks in our factory in Sweden, and the canvas fabric also needs to dry before we stretch it over a wooden frame and ship it to you.

If you order from Norway, your order will be delivered with Fedex; to Sweden and the rest of the world with DHL. Your package is normally delivered to your nearest pickup point!
