Before Odenplan existed
When Larssons Ateljé took the photograph in 1902, the site was not yet called Odenplan. The name was introduced only in 1925, while the area still lay on the outskirts of the rapidly growing city. Five decades later, the same place became an important transport hub when the metro reached the area.

The story behind the motif

Odengatan 69 to the east at the corner of Norrtullsgatan in 1902 - today the place is called Odenplan and is one of the Vastastan in Stockholm's more central parts.
