Poster with a detailed picture from 1909 of the Skeppsbron in Gamla Stan. At the round quay which is the site of the Gustafsberg boats, the shipping company's new acquisition, the cargo steamer Gustafsberg IV can be seen burning properly in the boiler. In the background can be seen the accident-stricken Gotland boat Hansa, which sank in 1944 with 84 deaths.
The small Saltsjöbad ferry can be seen on the water on the way to Stadsgården and on the far left the frigate Vanadis can be seen lying at Skeppsholmen's wharf. The Munchenbryggeriet's new Daimler-brand brew truck is on the dock. At this time, the Munchenbryggeriet had over 200 draft horses for the distribution of its drinks, but only one car.
The archipelago boats also transported most of the goods out into the archipelago, and at the stern of Gustafsberg IV you can see some cows. Gustav III's statue by Johan Tobias Sergel, which was unveiled in 1808, is also clearly visible. The picture was probably taken by Axel Malmström (1872-1945).
