Poster with a blueprint for a lighthouse to be built at Kullen, located at Kullaberg in Skåne, Sweden. The drawing is dated 1848 and provides a detailed view of the lighthouse and its building.

During the 19th century, many lighthouses around Sweden and Europe were modernized to become more efficient in guiding ships. Lighthouses were important to the Swedish merchant fleet and international shipping, and helped to improve sea lanes and trade routes during the 19th century.

The lighthouse at Kullen lighthouse is one of Sweden's most famous lighthouses due to its strategic location, which makes it an important navigation point for sailors traveling between the Öresund and the Kattegatt. The lighthouse was inaugurated in 1867 and is today one of the most well-preserved lighthouses in Sweden.
