Poster with a vintage photograph of the Junker G38 taken in 1930 by Sjöberg.
The photo shows a woman standing next to the massive landing gear of a Junkers G38, one of the largest and most impressive passenger aircraft of its time.
Her elegant attire, with hat and gown, creates a striking contrast to the aircraft's heavy wheels and industrial construction. She gently extends her hand toward the tire, as if both examining and admiring it the aircraft ahead. The Junkers G38 was a pioneering machine in the early development of aviation, known for its size and futuristic lines. The photograph captures precisely this sense of modernity and desire for discovery that characterized the 1930s, a time when aviation stood as a symbol of faith in the future and human engineering.
