The story behind the motif

A botanical, vintage poster with different types of grains, labeled with their scientific and Latin names.

The motif shows detailed drawings of the plants, including their leaves, seeds and roots. This type of illustration was often used in botanical references to aid plant identification and emphasize the unique characteristics of each species for comparison.
