Poster with a drawing for the Bondeska Palace in Stockholm, where Johan Eberhard Carlberg was the city architect. After the palace was purchased as a new town hall in 1730, Carlberg proposed an extension to the palace. The drawing shows a facade drawing that reflects the changes and additions he planned for the building.
The Bondeska Palatset was an important building both as a town hall and later as a place for other public functions. Carlberg's work on the extension and reconstruction was part of the larger effort to transform Stockholm into a more functional and aesthetically impressive city.
