The source image depicts Cellini, a named apple variety, and was made by Henriette Sjöberg around 1910. She was working at a time when plant breeding was advancing so rapidly that the major Swedish project to document all cultivated plants had to be abandoned: new varieties multiplied too quickly for a complete overview.
