The story behind the motif

Poster with a real idol image of Ted Gärdestad (1956-1997). This photograph was taken in the summer of 1972 when he was 16 years old.

Ted Gärdestad was a Swedish singer who, together with his brother Kenneth Gärdestad, created several iconic songs such as J ag vill ha en egen måne, Sun, wind and water , The sky is innocently blue and För kärlekens sake .

Ted participated in the melody festival four times and won in 1979 with the song Satellit .
