The story behind the motif

Poster with a vintage photograph taken during the filming of "Vi på Saltkråkan " on Bromskär in June 1963.

In the picture, Louise Edlind Friberg (Malin Melkersson) and Maria Johansson (Tjorven Grankvist) are sitting together with their dog Båtsman on a sun-warmed cliff. Stephen Lindholm (Pelle Melkersson) has climbed up on top of the sign with the text Saltkråkan . The picture captures the playful and summery atmosphere that characterizes the series.

The picture was taken in Sweden in 1963.
