The story behind the motif

Dressed in a suit, beret and bow tie with a cigarette casually in the corner of his mouth, he stands on a grassy surface and faces the camera with a mixture of playful confidence and quiet elegance. His hands rest on the waist chain, and his relaxed posture conveys the same warm charisma that made him one of Sweden's most beloved actors. 

Gösta Ekman belonged to one of the country's most important theater and film families, but also carved out a place of her own in Swedish cultural history. Here he is caught in the middle of a spontaneous moment, surrounded by summer light and nature, far from the spotlight of the stage but still with the same indisputable presence. A timeless image of an artist who has left an imprint on generations of Swedish film and theatre.
