The story behind the motif
Poster with a photograph of Klädesholmen from 1965. The lovely photo was taken by Terje Fredh. In the photo we see fishermen handling the catch.
Klädesholmen is an island and settlement in Tjörn municipality. The development, which between 1960 and 2020 was demarcated into an urban area, is actually located on two islands - Klädesholmen and Koholmen. The islands are connected to Tjörn via a bridge to Bleket. The islands were formerly Kronoholms, where fishermen had the right to settle and fish.
