The story behind the motif

A funny poster with a boy in a pedal car getting help at a gas station in Sweden in the 1960s. A serviceman has jacked up the little car to do a thorough check.

In the background we see a Saab 92 standing at the pump with oil-mixed gasoline called Esso Mix. Esso was a chain of gas stations that was acquired by Norwegian Statoil in 1986. In connection with the acquisition, all stations were renamed.
