The story behind the motif
Poster featuring a vintage poster of a European lobster from the Results des Campagnes Scientifiques drawn by Albert I, Prince of Monaco (1848-1922). In the picture we see, among other things, the text Panulirus Regius Royale Langouste - Latin and French for the species.
The European lobster lives in Europe and North Africa - from Lofoten in Norway down to the Mediterranean and northwest Africa. They can be up to 60 cm long and weigh up to 6 kg.
